Nonpoint

A diferencia de muchos grupos, los miembros de Nonpoint no han cambiado desde su formación en 1997. Andrew Goldman, guitarra, y Kenneth "KB" Charman, bajo, dieron los primeros pasos para la formación del grupo. Se separaron de su antigua banda Fuse, y junto con el vocalista Elias Soriano y el batería Robb Rivera, fundaron el grupo en cuestión.
Su primer álbum se llama Separate Yourself, aunque no estaba destinado al ámbito comercial. Por fin, en el 18 de Mayo de 1999 salió a la luz Struggle. Actualmente, está descatalogado.
El grupo consiguió alcazar un buen reconocimiento en el año 2001 durante el festival de Ozzfest. Su segundo álbum, Statement, alcanzó un buen puesto en las listas de ventas. Posteriormente, su primer Single, What a day, llegó al puesto número 24 en el ranking de Mainstream Rock.
Development salió a la luz en 2002. Durante este momento, surgió una gran polémica debido a una entrevista del vocalista. A pesar de este hecho el grupo volvió a triunfar en el festival de Ozzfest de ese mismo año.
Dos años después se publicó su tercer álbum Recoil, que incluía su exitosa aunque polémica canción: The Truth.
Nonpoint se desentendió de Lava Records y comenzó la grabación de su disco To The Pain con la discográfica Bieles Bros. Records. Su cuarto LP salió a luz el 8 de Noviembre del 2005. Con el fin de promocionar su nuevo disco, la banda inició un tour junto con grupos como Disturbed, Stone Sour, y Flyleaf. El 31 de Enero del 2007, To The Pain había llegado a vender más de 118.000 copias en Estados Unidos.

God Forbid

Se creó en la década de los años 90’s, dando giras con bandas como Nile, Cradle of Filth y Candiria, su primer álbum Reject the Sickness fue lanzado por 9 Volt Records en 1999. Este álbum recibió gran rotación en la radio neoyorquina WSOU-FM y la banda firmó con Century Media Records, lanzando el álbum Determination en el 2001. Tocaron en el MTV2 Headbanger's Ball tour con Shadows Fall y Lamb of God. En el 2004, lanzaron Gone Forever que aumentaron considerablemente su perfil y ganaron un lugar en el Ozzfest. El próximo año, ellos lanzaron IV: Constitution of Treason, un álbum conceptual sobre el fin del mundo. Es su primer álbum en entrar en el Billboard 200, debutando en el puesto 118. En el 2005-2006 apoyaron a Trivium en su tour británico junto con Mendeed y Bloodsimple. A finales de 2006 y principios de 2007 encabezaron el tour Chains of Humanity, junto con Goatwhore, Mnemic, The Human Abstract, Byzantine y Arsis. En el 2006, la canción To the Fallen Hero, ganò el premio Independent Music Award for Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Song. Ellos hicieron un DVD que lanzaron el 10 de junio de 2008. Actualmente están componiendo nuevas canciones para su quinto álbum, que se lanzará probablemente a inicios del 2009. Se publica Earthsblood. Con un ambiente mas de propio Metalcore melódico.

Lacuna Coil

Lacuna Coil es un grupo de metal formado en Milán, Italia en 1994. Antiguamente fueron conocidos como Sleep of Right y Ethereal. De acuerdo a la banda, esta ha sido influenciada por grupos como Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride, Tiamat, Anathema, Septic Flesh, Black Sabbath, Type O Negative, Imago Mortis, Depeche Mode, In Flames, Amorphis, entre otros.
Lacuna Coil ha participado en los más grandes festivales de metal en todo el mundo, incluyendo Ozzfest, Bloodstock Open Air, Wacken Open Air, y en el Loudpark Festival en Japón.
Actualmente son considerados como una de las bandas de hard rock y metal más influyentes en Italia, así como una de las bandas italianas con mayor éxito en el extranjero y de las mas influyentes en el metal gótico
